- Two miracles are etched in this cave. One is the Ryukyu‑era “Nakijin King legend,” in which the king’s life was saved amid unrest—memories that still breathe quietly in the stalactites. The other is the wartime miracle of “Nuchishinuji,” when around 300 residents sheltered here and not a single life was lost. This story of lives protected by nature continues to speak to visitors today.
